Passy Boy!

Jake hasn't had his pacifier since his second birthday. It was quite an ordeal getting him used to not having it. OK, I'll admit it was much worse for me then him, but that's beside the point. Jake found a pacifier one morning and decided that he was back on the habit. It was pretty funny to see him try to get away with it. He thought he was so clever!

Thanksgiving Collision!

Thanksgiving was eventful as ever and tons of fun. We went to my Aunt and Uncle's house first for Thanksgiving Lunch and then to Kamron's family's house for dinner. It's great! :) Here's the funny part! Just as we were getting ready to leave Kamron's parent's house, Justin was running around with his cousin Alley and they ran full speed into each other. It was quite he traumatic even for Justin. He went to sleep with an ice pack on his lip. He woke up the next morning it was HUGE. Kamron and I had to cover our faces so that poor little Justin couldn't see that his parents were laughing to tears at his misfortune. We could not believe how HUGE his lip got! It was off the charts! Anyway....it's not a great picture, but have a look. It healed in about two days. He was praying pretty hard every night that his lip would get better....and it did!

It was a Jedi Halloween!

We had a lot of fun this Halloween! We went to a really great party at my Dad's office. He works for NOKIA and they really went all out! They had a "Pirates of the Carri bean" theme and had a real Jack Sparrow actor there with tons of decorations and all that fun stuff. The boys really liked it and made their own eye patch! ARRRRRRR!

Trick or treating was fun too! I must say that they were the cutest Aniken (sp?) and Yoda I've ever seen! As far as that candy goes, I sure do love that they are young enough that mommy can still limit the amount of junk food that comes in the house. Even on Halloween! The best part is that after a few days, the candy miraculously disappears, and they don't even notice! I don't know if I'll get away with that next year, but it sure is nice for the time being. Am I mean? Maybe....but it helps keep the sugar level in the house at a normal level....that's vital with our two little Jedi's!
